Like previous games in the series, the gameplay involves gunfights. They also frequently collaborate, particularly for heists, a tough assignment in which a considerable operation must be planned and completed by developing a strategy and employing extra henchmen. They are all unique in their missions, lifestyles, and personalities.
The player can now switch between the three characters on the fly, a first for the series. It revolves around three main characters: Michael, Trevor, and Franklin. Grand Theft Auto V is set in Los Santos, five years after Grand Theft Auto IV.
